Your Options For Window Replacement
With this option there is an invisible coating of low-E that reflects heat transfer, working both inside and out. It also reflects ultraviolet rays, which protect your carpets and drapes from fading in sunlight. Argon gas is then added between the 2 panes of glass that virtually doubles the insulating factor of the glass pack, vastly increasing the effeciency of the window against the elements in all seasons.
Double-pane glass is a standard for all vinyl replacement windows. There are 2 panes of glass constructed with a "warm edge" spacer system to create an air-tight seal between the glass to keep out moisture, which causes fogging. Double-pane glass with or without the low-E/Argon gas option is a much better insulating factor than your traditional single-pane window.
Triple-pane glass is an option offered in most all styles of replacement windows. There are 3 panes of glass with the "warm-edge" spacers between each pane of glass for optimum efficiency in your window. In addition to the benefit of greater insulation, it also creates the best sound barrier available on the market.
Grids are availabe in all double-pane and triple-pane windows. There are many choices in the configuration of the grids (aka muttons), from shapes to color matching options. The benefits are to enhance the look of the window as well as being placed between the glass, which makes it easier to clean the glass.
Windows come in either white or tan. There are many exterior painted colors to choose from with the availability to customize your choice. The interior of each window has the option of three laminated colors to choose from to give your windows the appearance of a wood-framed sash and mainframe.
Vinyl Window Sahses and Mainframes
Vinyl Window Sahses and Mainframes are constructed using only virgin vinyl that are fusion-welded at all meeting points rather than screwed together. This, along with several extrusions in the mainframe, not only allows the balance system for each sash to be concealed, it also adds strength and durability to each unit.
We offer our screens in either a traditional half-screen or the option of a full screen. Screens are constructed of an aluminum frame with a durable fiber screen installed. Screens are designed to seal off the window when open from penetration of insects and bugs. Our screens are spring loaded to keep it in place, and are easily removable for periodic cleaning.
It is important to know what your warranty is offering. There are warranties that only offer a prorated portion of your claim and may not offer glass breakage. Our Warranty not only offers a NON-prorated warranty against the entire unit as well as all components, but also offers a minimum of 25 years on some models. Most models have a lifetime of glass breakage warranty for any reason.
